Dynamic Dosing Increases Growth & Speed & Yields

Dynamic Dosing for 10-Tub Fertigation

Dynamic Dosing - "Fertigation" (Fertilizer and Irrigation)

Software Controlled

The Guardian Grow Manager application controls the precision sensing, dynamic nutrient dosing and mechanical actions of the AEtrium-4 Automated Cultivation Bloom System.  The precise amount of nutrients are efficiently dosed according to either a preset or user-defined recipe.

A New Way To Grow

Many commercial cultivators have their own ideas on what kind of aspects they want in their grow environment, so we created an automated nutrient system that caters specifically to a grower's recipe. Compared to soil, where after fertilization, the effects of nutrient concentration recipe  may take days to manifest, the results a nutrient solution in hydroponics can be seen in mere hours, giving growers ample time to adjust and fix any mistakes.

Beyond Simple Hydroponics

Traditionally multi-variable aqueous fertilization of plants has been done volumetrically.  Each gallon of water gets a defined number of ounces for each of the liquid nutrients added to it. After thorough mixing, the plants are irrigated with this fertilized mixture (fertigated). This works well in one-way fertigation such as drip to drain. However, in aeroponics, the fertigation solution is continuously recirculated and the concentration of nutrients can vary due to various factors such as nutritional uptake from plants, transpiration water loss from the plants, and evaporation.

To deal with this issue, the AEtrium-4 is equipped with precision sensors throughout the entire system, monitoring the reservoir and nutrients for any potential changes in concentration and adjusting accordingly.

How the AEtrium-4's dynamic dosing system improves your yields.

Dosing nutrients can be a tricky thing to do when trying to maximize your yield. What nutrients to dose? how much of it? When should the dosing occur? How often? AEtrium-4 dynamic nutrient dosing system helps simplify this process, and lets you optimize your grow better each time.

Optimize Your Growth

The AEtrium-4 precision sensors determine the best nutrient amounts to keep your nutrient dosing recipe at its target levels.  You are in complete control of these targets for your plants.  The Guardian System easily records the amounts used in each grow at what stage and stores the gathered data for you to formulate a more efficient strain in your next grow cycle.

You are likely to have your own ideas on what nutrients are important, so we created an automated nutrient system to cater specifically to your cultivator expertise.  Traditionally multi-variable aqueous fertilization of plants has been done volumetrically.  Each gallon of water gets a defined number of ounces of each of the liquid nutrient added to it, after thorough mixing the plants are irrigated with this fertilized mixture (fertigated).  This works well in one-way fertigation such as drip to drain.

In aeroponics the fertigation solution is continuously recirculated and the concentration of nutrients can vary due to the nutritional uptake from plants, transpiration water loss from the plants, and even through evaporation.  The AEtrium-4 precision sensors provide these details to the Grow Manager and it determines the best nutrient additions to keep your nutrient dosing recipe at its target levels.

The Guardian Grow Manager keeps you in complete control of these targets for your plants.  All dosage amounts are recorded automatically and you can analyze these results at any convenient time.  Every grow cycle is a new opportunity to apply what you learn.

Detailed Control

Connected to the AEtrium System, the dynamic doser lets you set your dosing parameters including: the number of cycles, amount of NPK dosed per session, and how often it's done.  You can set individual parameters for each row of 2 to  10 AEtrium-4's via recipes.

Data Analysis

With each setting, sensors in the dosing system and reservoir record the EC and pH levels and warn you if a setting is toxic to the current plant growth. After completing a successful grow, you can store your settings in a recipe and immediately start again, or do adjustments for experimentation.
