RAIR in Michigan is a 30,000 ft2 licensed producer that starts with brilliant Mother plants in aeroponics. Cuttings from those Mother are placed into the 4-Layer AEtrium-2.1 SmartFarm and sprout the beginning of roots in 3-5 days of irrigation under high humidity. At the end of 10-12 days, fully rooted Clones are ready for topping and to transition to Veg in the same AEtrium SmartFarm begins. View the complete Mothers to Clones episode here:
Ashley Hubbard is their director of cultivation and manages 22,000 square feet of canopy in a highly automated state-of-the-art facility. Delivering top shelf flower and consumables through their four dispensaries, Ashley gives you a personal tour of their facility and grow procedures.
This segment covers their aeroponic clone & veg room where they take cuttings from their mother room and grow them into rooted clones, pinch off the tops, and in a total of 4 weeks deliver a bushy veg plant to their next available flower room. Zero soil is used throughout the facility. Their continuous harvest process has a capacity of more than 300,000 clones per year in four 48-tray SmartFarm systems. Their one-touch process is fully automated and redundant for their continuous harvest flow. Like their mother room, all water and nutrients, not used by the plants, are recycled in their water recapture system. Environmental and nutrient recipes are optimized for each SmartFarm with the growth and harvest process staged and synchronized for their next available flower room.
